Palm Beach School Board Votes to Adopt the National Resolution that Opposes High Stakes Testing

From Scathing Purple Musinigns by Bob Sykes

Testing is Not Teaching - PBC citizens united to make a difference have announced on their Facebook page that the Palm Beach School Board has adopted the National Resolution on High Stakes Testing.

The resolution brings unprecedented bipartisan spirit. Joining the NAACP and NEA – traditional supporters of the Democrats - are 360 school districts in red state Texas.

A dismissal of the resolution from Florida education commissioner Gerard Robinson came yesterday before the school board of the nations 11th largest school district weighed in this afternoon. Look for other Florida districts to follow suit. Especially ones with outspoken board members like in Orange, Seminole and Flagler counties.
