Jason Fischer has received endorsements from John Thrasher and Steven Wise arguably to of the most ardent anti-public education legislators around. They are for privatization and against teachers. These endorsements make me wonder what Mr. Fishers plans for our schools are.
A quick look at his web-site reveals:
· Consistently challenge the status quo
· Get our financial house in order
· Keep our taxes low
· Bring disciple back to the classroom
· Expand school choice options
· Reward teachers based on merit
Rhetoric, rhetoric, starve schools of resources, nice but ideas please, privatization and a lack of understanding about what teachers want and need.
Shouldn’t candidates for the school board at least like public schools?
