Two Duval candidates for superintendent didn't make the cut in Pinellas county

From the Tampa Bay Times

Kriner Cash, superintendent of Memphis City Schools

Kathryn LeRoy, chief academic officer of Duval Schools

William Miller, executive director of the Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators

Dale Robbins, retired assistant superintendent of Gwinnett County Public Schools

Nikolai Vitti, chief of academics for Miami-Dade Schools

Two of the semi-finalists listed above also applied for the Pinellas opening - LeRoy and Miller - but neither made the final cut. Cash, as the Times Union story mentions, once worked in Miami-Dade Schools. Vitti worked for the state Department of Education and was head of the differentiated accountability system, which was an effort to combine the state's FCAT-based testing system with the federal No Child Left Behind system.
