Just about everything Florida does came under criticism this week. The system is really breaking down.

Let’s just get right to it. This was not a good week for Florida’s education sytem.

The crazy distribution of PECO funds that disproportionately, make that criminally benefits charter schools.

Florida’s grading system which has been tweaked, massaged and mutilated into irrelevancy not that it had much to begin with.

Florida’s race based goals, spoiler alert we don’t have high expectations for our African American students and the states over reliance on testing.

The perception of deception as a legislator attempts to strip common and core out of the state statutes.

Heck we can’t even do text books right.

I wonder if having a grocer, a citrus grower, and a TFA hobbyist on the state board of education has anything to do with it?
